Policies Prohibiting Forced Labor and Human Trafficking

NEWGLORYBAGS & LUGGAGE (CAMBODIA) CO., LTD) and all suppliers strictly prohibit human trafficking. Workers should not be subject to any form of coercion, coercion, or debt payment. All work must be voluntary and workers are free to terminate their employment at any time after giving reasonable notice without penalty.


Workers shall not be charged any fees or costs, directly or indirectly, in part or in whole, as a result of recruitment, including costs associated with shipping to the receiving country, processing of domestic and foreign work-related materials and work visa costs.


Provide migrant workers with a labor contract written in their native language, clearly stating the workers’ rights and responsibilities, and the working environment, including wages, benefits, working hours, work location, living environment, housing costs, occupational hazards, and other work and Conditions of Employment.


It is strictly prohibited to confiscate, damage, withhold or otherwise prevent workers from possessing their identity documents or immigration materials, including work permits and travel documents (such as passports).


Migrant workers may not be required to deposit their savings and insurance funds, and may not at any time withhold a portion of a worker's wages as a condition of obtaining or maintaining employment.


All workers shall be paid at least the minimum wage, as well as all benefits mandated by law, in accordance with applicable law. Wage payments should be in compliance with applicable laws (if any), paid directly to workers on a fixed cycle, and should not be delayed, postponed or withheld.


Only deductions, advances and loans authorized by national law are allowed, and only with the full consent and understanding of the worker. Information on hours worked, remuneration, and calculation of legal deductions should be provided to workers at the time of hire.


All workers must gain full and complete control over their income. Wage deductions may not bind workers to their employer or job. Workers are also not allowed to guarantee debts and use forced labor to pay off debts.


Fraud regarding salary promises, payments, advances and loans is prohibited.


Whenever possible, companies should employ workers directly. When recruiting and hiring subcontractors, the company should ensure that the labor agency the subcontractor contacts is legal and has been certified and authorized by the local competent authority. Recruitment fees should not be charged and only trained employees should be used. We have not engaged in fraudulent recruitment practices that put workers at risk of human trafficking and sexual exploitation.
